WellKind Guatemala is a grassroots NGO that empowers the indigenous communities around Lake Atitlán, Guatemala through holistic, integrative, community-led solutions. Our team is formed almost exclusively of Kaqchikel youth leaders born in the region we work in who have witnessed their communities grappling with challenges in deforestation, pollution, nutrition, and education.

We currently have two main focuses; Ecological restoration and Economic development.

WellKind works with the Breath of Earth to collaborate with small-scale coffee farmers and identify areas of community collaboration.

Nzatu is a regenerative agriculture model that works to produce sustainable food without interfering with natural resources and preserving wildlife habitat.

We focus on training and supporting capabilities of small scale and medium-size business that are involved in honey and coffee bean production.

Nzatu partners with Breath of Earth to provide access to the distribution network for local products at fair trade prices.

Nourish was created as a platform linking conservation with community issues and ideals, finding integrated sustainable solutions to issues plaguing conservation such as wildlife crime, poverty, low levels of education and food insecurity.

We work towards growing resilient wildlife communities through engagement in conservation & sustainable development through integrated and holistic project based programming.
